Every Sunday morning at 10am we have our family friendly worship service. Join us for vibrant praise and worship and relevant, life changing preaching. There are three children’s programmes available on Sunday mornings at Laingholm Baptist Church during the school term. All of these programmes start part way through the Sunday morning church service. The programmes are "God's Garden", "Lighthouse" and "Immersion".

God’s Garden is on during the Sunday Morning Service. It is designed especially for pre-school children to create a friendly, safe place where they feel they belong. Our leaders put priority on getting to know the children and building a positive church experience for them at this young age.
The Lighthouse is on during the Sunday Morning Service. It is for primary aged children (Years 1 to 6). We have a lot of fun as we learn about God and experience being part of His family.
Immersion is on during the Sunday Morning Service. It is about building relationships with each other and especially with God. Immersion is for children and young teens in Years 7 to 9.
Rock Solid is our main High School Programme, which runs on a Sunday night during term time and is a chance for high schoolers to come together, worship God, and learn more about Him. We have a mixture of games, worship, and small group time.
mainly music is for pre-school children and their parents/caregivers. Join us for a fun time of music and movement followed by a social time with morning tea. We meet Tuesday mornings (term time) with the session running from 10am - 10.30am, followed by morning tea and playtime until around 11.30am. Generosity is one of our core values and we like to honour mothers and fathers and spoil them whenever possible.
Alpha Course - contact us for more info

The Alpha Course is a 12 week course that gives people a chance to explore what the Christian faith is all about, in a non-threatening and low key atmosphere. This is followed by question and discussion time where no question is too simple or too challenging. Please contact us if you are interested in joining in our next Alpha Course.
The CAP Money course is aimed at people who are looking to better manage their budgets. It is designed to empower people to get a better grip on their day-day finances and provides a system to assist people to manage & monitor their income and expenditure so they do not fall into debt. The course is completely free for delegates to attend and includes refreshments and coursework material.
After the course delegates will have a better handle on how to Budget, Save, & Spend.

Men's ministry is a chance for men to get together, stay active, and be encouraged. It's an environment where men can share as they answer God's call to serve, lead, and be an example to their family and in the community.
We meet for regular smallgroups - contact us to be added to the mailing list for further info and venue (emails will be forwarded to Karl).
Women's Group is on, every Thursday, during the term. We meet from 9.30am and start with scrumptious munchies - healthy ones, and not so healthy ones... This is followed by worship and smallgroups and then we end with prayer for each other. Once a term we have a guest speaker. There's a creche for the littlies, so bring them along.

Friday Club is an after school club for primary aged children. We have a great time, do innovative crafts, exciting indoor and outdoor games, science and cooking, bible stories and Christian values. Friday club runs fortnightly (on Friday) from 3.45pm - 5.15pm.

Connect is our intermediate (year 7 - 9) programme which runs on Friday Club afternoons 4pm - 5:15pm and alternating weeks in the evening 7pm - 9pm during term time. We have a lot of fun playing games, doing activities and challenges, then we spend some time in small groups finding out more about God. Once a term we'll do something like rock climbing, ice skating, or ten pin bowling. We love having new people join us, so come and join the fun!
Come and shop at our community Opshop where we have a wide range of gently used goods for sale. The shop is run by community volunteers and is open on Tuesdays, 11am - 4pm & Wednesdays 8:30am - 12pm during term time and Saturdays, 9:30am - 12pm. The last Tuesday of each month we have a $1 clothing sale! Money goes to support ministries within the church and to sponsor a World Vision child.

OPSHOP OPEN    Tues 11am-4pm   Wed 8:30am - 12pm   Sat 9:30am-12pm.

Prayer is our connection with God; how can we do anything unless we pray, for without Christ's direction, leading, guiding, cover, and blessing, we labour in vain. The Prayer Team meetings are open to anyone who needs prayer or would like to come and intercede for our church and our community.
Every Monday, 7.00pm-7:30pm there is a space put aside from the busy week for a time of individual prayer, meditation, & contemplation with background music. Then at 7.30pm the main prayer group join together and start to pray for various prayer needs, events, ministries, and the moving of the Holy Spirit.
Every Friday morning we have a 7.00am-7.30am open prayer time in the auditorium with our pastor Simon.
Smallgroups are where precious relationships are grown and our faith becomes a reality. Our desire is that smallgroups will provide a place where people will belong and can share their strengths and weaknesses, to be real with one another, laugh together, grow in faith and where we can rally around and support each other and live out our Christian lives together as family. There are many smallgroups that meet at different times during the week.
